When an article is accepted for peer review, authors are required to pay a processing fee of $500. Upon payment of the fee the peer review process will begin. If, after peer review, your manuscript is accepted for publication, a one-time article processing charge (APC) is payable to cover the cost of publishing, paid by the funder, institution, or author. The article processing charge (APC) is $1,500.

Aim and Scope
Integrating Ayush with Modern Healthcare explores eastern medicine topics including Ayurvedic, Movement and traditional medical systems such as Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy. The journal looks for fresh thinking, vigorous debate, and careful analysis. Combining a holistic approach to conventional medicine helping serve all types of practitioners. Submissions are open to all members and observers of the health and research community.
Ayurvedic
Research in Ayurvedic medicine encompasses classical theory, clinical practice, and traditional botanical knowledge, integrating textual scholarship with modern biomedical investigation to evaluate safety, efficacy, and mechanisms of action. Rooted in foundational texts such as the Charaka Samhita and Sushruta Samhita, contemporary studies examine personalized diagnostics (prakriti-based assessment), herbal pharmacology, herbo-mineral formulations, and preventive health strategies. Special emphasis is placed on traditional botanical practices, including medicinal plant identification, cultivation, sustainable harvesting, and phytochemical standardization, alongside laboratory analyses of bioactive compounds and clinical trials targeting chronic, metabolic, and inflammatory conditions. Increasingly, interdisciplinary research combines ethnobotany, systems biology, and integrative medicine approaches to validate traditional knowledge, ensure quality control, and support evidence-informed application of Ayurvedic therapies in modern healthcare contexts.
Movement
Research in movement medicine explores how structured physical practices can prevent and treat disease by integrating biomechanics, neuroscience, psychology, and rehabilitation science, with growing evidence supporting mind–body disciplines such as Yoga and Tai Chi. Clinical studies show that these practices improve balance, flexibility, muscular strength, autonomic regulation, and emotional resilience, while reducing chronic pain, cardiovascular risk factors, anxiety, and depression. Neuroimaging research suggests they enhance brain connectivity in regions linked to attention and interoception, and physiological findings demonstrate reductions in inflammatory markers and stress hormones. Increasingly incorporated into integrative and rehabilitative care, yoga and tai chi are being studied not only as complementary therapies but as scalable, low-cost interventions that support healthy aging, fall prevention, and recovery from conditions such as arthritis, stroke, and chronic low back pain.
Traditional Systems
Research in traditional medicine systems examines the historical foundations, clinical applications, pharmacology, and evidence base of long-standing healing traditions such as Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy. Contemporary scholarship integrates textual analysis of classical manuscripts with laboratory studies of herbal and mineral formulations, standardization and quality control of preparations, and clinical trials evaluating safety and effectiveness for chronic and lifestyle-related disorders. Investigations also explore mechanisms of action—ranging from phytochemical profiling and pharmacognosy to immunomodulatory and systems biology approaches—while addressing regulatory frameworks, integrative care models, and public health relevance. Increasingly, interdisciplinary research seeks to bridge traditional theoretical constructs with modern biomedical methodologies to enhance validation, safety monitoring, and global acceptance of these systems.
